Version 0.1.1
With our semester coming to an end, I can now revisit this quirky project of mine.
I added a few things and tweaked a few knobs here and there in this version.
Gameplay:
I wanted to find some other use for Discarding Cards aside from trying to find good cards for better hands. Hence I added a new Type of Token Card Upgrade!
These Token Cards are included as one of the choices you could find when you win a round. This type involves you discarding a specific card/cards in order to gain some sort of benefit. For example: Discarding 3 of a kind that are not debuffed will temporarily grant 1.5x to all your multipliers.
Some numbers are to be adjusted, which is why is a test version for the web version for now.
Other gameplay changes include:
- A significant increase in Enemy HP every 5 rounds (essentially a boss round).
- The starting Enemy HP when starting a new Aces game is reduced to 300 instead of 500.
- New way of calculating the next round's Enemy HP.
- Made a much more stable logic for checking Dual Pairs
- Added a new temporary mult for all mults for the new Token Upgrades.
- Restructured how mults are saved and calculated for the future.
- The sort suit now also sorts it based in their value per suit.
Visual Changes:
- Added prefixes to large numbers, K for Thousands, M for Millions, B for Billions and so on.
- Reduced the size of the cards in game.
- Repositioned the Play and Discard button for minimal mouse movement.
- Animated Numbers when dealing damage.
- Added a way to know which of the New Upgrade Tokens you have and a way to know what their effects are in the Mult Stats Screen.
